Hold on there, not so fast, first things first... Might not be the heater core at all! Check the bleeder plug on the right side of the heater assembly (the 0-ring seal can leak and the plug can crack, thereby also leaking). Also the control valve in the same location can also leak between itself and the heater core (there's a rubber 0-ring in there).

Having said all that, it's likely that the heater core is ALSO leaking if it hasn't been replaced already. If it is, go ahead and buy the new one from Ken (see below - I have them too, same price, but he spoke up first!). It's not worth your time to go hunting for a "good used one". But also contact your FLVWD and buy the new bleeder plug, a control valve and the o-ring seals. Do it wunce, do it rite!
