>>My parked 89 Westy was recently involved in a hit-and-run accident that did $5000 of body damage primarily to the front... I just got it back a little over a week ago and I have noticed that I now have a slow coolant leak... I'm hoping my insurance company will assist with this.<<

Insurance 101 Rule #1- you get one bite at the apple. If you settled with an insurer, it's over. Says so on the check and paperwork that you did not read before you signed. (BEWARE!!! There is a reason the Good Hands People want to settle quickly!)

As it is your insurer they may help you out to keep you as a customer, but I doubt it. Best of luck.
