Sure. Two years back when I was replacing the ignition switch about every two to three months for about 3/4 of a year, and before the good Vet. listee (Robbert) from N.C., told me about having too many keys or thing-a-ma-bobs hanging from my key chain killing the switch. I culled down the weight from the key ring and haven't had a problem since. But going back to your inquiry, one of the varied symptoms I incountered was intermitent operation to eventual total loss of electric windows (though this was on both sides and not just one side, if I recall correctly). It was from all that experiance that lead me to write up the proceedure for changing the ignition switch that can be found in the archives. Tyrone Big Pine Key, FL 87 GL Syncro 85 Westy etc....
