I recently replaced fuel hosing, using Bus Depot hose (not Continental but looks the same) and keeping the metal rings on the injectors. While trying to remove an injector electrical plug with an overtight spring, I found gas squirting on my fingers. Bending the hose sideways reproduced this. I couldn't pull the hose off straight, but I could bend it hard over and work it off fairly easily. I don't know how safe this is in service, but I decided that hose clamps were the way to go for me... david David Beierl - dbeierl@ibm.net |
