Don't wait for CV problems. The shop that fixed mine at about 100K said that original German grease gets thin and runs out in US heat. Don't wait for excessive wear/breakage. About every 60K seems conservative. Mine wore/broke at 100K and 180K. Cheers, Tom Neal
