and my personal bias would be Todd at volkswerks transaxles, especially with a synchro and even with the shipping to the left coast.

My personal experience with trannies(especially 4x4's) has led me to the experts, those that do this "particular" job more then once a decade, year.

Keep in mind that the synchro trans is fairly rare and few shops have experience dealing with their idio"synchro"sies! lol
