Subject: CV joint,spacing washer ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello all,

I am now head to toes covered in cv grease, everything I touch turns black.

I would like to know about the spacing washer, there were none present when I recently took off the rear shafts. A spacing washer came with a boot kit that I had bought previous, but there was no spacing washer in the box that contained my new cv joint (lobre). The local dealer have the picture of the spacing washer on their files but there is no other reference, it is their understanding that I do not need it. Any other ideas on that ?

Under what circumstances is the spacing washer used?

Regards, Martin Kennelly
