Subject: 89 Wolfsburg for sale
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi everybody-

I think it's time for me to try something new. Since I was 16 (28 now) I've owned only two cars and they were both Vanagons. Right now my 89 Wolfsburg is in a shop in Virginia in need of a gasket job. I'll get it fixed and then sell it if I need to, but I thought there might be someone out there willing to do the work themselves and get a better deal.

In general I have done everything in my power to keep this van in top condition. Recent replacements include: clutch, alternator, air flow meter, oxygen sensor, AFM wire harness "fix", front and rear brakes, and the list goes on but that's all I can think of now.

It has a set of Yokohamas that only have about 20,000 miles on them, and I just repacked the CV joints a little while ago. Oil and coolant were changed at list-recommended intervals. I just changed the transmission fluid with Redline synthetic.

I could be convinced to part with the Yakima racks, fairly new Kenwood stereo (cassette) and the wooden cup holder I built for the dash.

There is about 145,000 miles on it. This is a Wolfsburg with rear jumpseats, table, fold-out bed and windown screens. It's located in Roanoke, Virginia.

I'd like to get somewhere near the $6000 range without having the gaskets done, but there is plenty of room for negotiation. Let me know if anybody is interested, or if you have any questions.

Mark Schrope
