This is really why I suggested using the clamps instead of the rings in my How-To. I try to make things as simple as possible when I write them up. Yes you might be able to reuse those old rings (I just don't have the patience to fool with them myself) but to me it is just simpler to use clamps. Also less potential problems. Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16 PS all my kits come with Continental hose. I like the "made in Germany" stamped every 5 inches. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy :)
