Subject: sporadic high beam prob on 85
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

The SA grille looks great on Vinnie, but there is a problem with the high beam circuit. Low beam is fine--high beam is sporadic. It switches on sometimes but not others. The flash function is ok as well. Disassembeled the headlight switch from the dash while the wife was driving on our last trip but it was not "fried" or anything like that. Cleaned it up real good and reassembled it. Fuses also seem to be fine. I suspect that it is the manual dimmer on the stalk. Any ideas?

BTW-I'm not running any high wattage bulbs (yet!). Just normal stock bulbs. I used those crimp on taps to the high beam lead to get power for the driving lights (55w) as well untill I can get around to a more durable setup.
