Hi Volks, With just 10 days to go I figured it might be ok to put in a plug for Transporters by the Tunnel. Its happening July 16th-18th in North Adams, Massachusetts at Historic Valley Campground (413-662-3198) Its a LiMBO sponsored campout, but all forms of VW's are invited to come out. We have a caterer come and cook an all you can eat chicken BBB on Saturday and he cooks a big breakfast Sunday morning. We are planning a caravan and a canoe trip. There are tons of things to do in and around North Adams. The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Arts, just opened in North Adams, and the Williamstown Theater Festival always draws some big name Stars. Plus, the senic Mohawk trail and the tallest moutain in Massachusetts, MT Greylock is close at hand. The Tunnel itself is only about a 20 minute hike from the campground. Its a rail tunnel, completed in 1874, almost 5miles long and was, at one time, the longest tunnel in the world. We are also planning to have the newsletter folding party Saturday morning at the campground, so come out and help out with that. The campground is planning a Christmas in July theme for the weekend, with a visit from Santa and a decorating contest. I thought it would be a good idea to give something to charity, so I'm heading up a Toys for Tots toy drive. IT promises to be a good time so come out and have some fun. For more info email me or call the number below. To reserve a spot call the campground 413-662-3198. See you there, Take care. -- -Jim DiGennaro ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LiMBO, The Late Model Bus Organization, international zzzzzzzzzzz_ |E[__] [__]|[_]\\ | _ LiMBO | _ || =-( )---------( )--= '84 Green Westfalia, 'The Turtle Van' James Digennaro, LiMBO's Editor and Web master. * 34 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220 ICQ# 5534528 LiMBO LINE: (413) 743-1814 * URL: http://www.bcn.net/~limbo/ 'Transporters By The Tunnel' - A fun camping event ' July 16th-18th ------------------------------------------------------------------------
