Okay vendors, here's your chance to shine!!! I recently purchased a 'new' Sachs clutch for the Vanagon. Came in a Sachs box. Disk is marked as follows... Lining: Perfection - Made in USA Hub: Sachs - Made in Germany Paper stick on tag - Hencho en Mexico Does this sound like a 'new' Sachs clutch disk? BTW, the reason for the replacement is the 'Ray-loc' remanufactured clutch disk self destructed after ~2500 miles due to a 'remanufactured' pressure plate with .010 concavity across the face. Stay away from Ray-loc brand distributed by NAPA! TIA Jim Arnott WetWesties Union, OR |
