I don't think there is anything as a syncro clutch but rather simply the clutch for 89-1/2-up vanagons. This is a clutch made by Luk. If you spend some time on the web, you can find distributors of Luk clutches. I bought one from the midwest somewhere a last summer by searching in Alta Vista. I think the clutch cost me like, $50 or so. The great clutch mystery was slander against Sachs. That is, I think the chattering problem was ultimately identified as the forky shaft for the throwout bearing instead of the clutch. _______________________________________________ Derek Drew New York, NY CEO, ConsumerSearch drew@interport.net 212-580-6486 917-848-6425 (cell; this phone is a reliable way to reach me fast or to leave messages) Alternate numbers for the industrious phone caller that wants to try every avenue: 202-966-7907 (Work), 212-580-4459 (Home), 202-966-0938 (Home) |
