The VW factory maintenance booklet calls for 90K-mile O2 sensor replacement
schedule on Vanagon after m.y. 1988. VW chose to pull a 30K-mile OXS
light mileage counter box from their Golf/Jetta parts bin and installed on
Vanagon's Let's why my OXS light will come on at 30K-mile interval even
though it should not be until 60K miles.

Our Sam club sells white case (like European original) Champion group 41
battery for $39.95 but with only 2
-year exchange warranty. Mysteriously all 6 batteries I bought for my VW's
were died right after 2 years.
I gave up Die-Hard since it always develops acid leak. You just don't want
acid leak on the Vanagon's.
