Can anyone help this guy out? Write to: Pisces0031@aol.com -----Original Message----- From: Pisces0031@aol.com [mailto:Pisces0031@aol.com] Sent: Friday, June 25, 1999 7:18 PM To: coyote@andromedia.com Subject: Re:VW syncro help
I would appreciate your help. My 1987 syncro is sporatically cutting our at 3000-4000 RPM. It did it a few time 3 weeks ago, and now it did it again for about 30 miles. It seems to go dead for a split second: the tach drops way down and then it goes right back to the way it should go. It seems electric for it stopped and now it is working great. I am driving on a long trip shortly and my mechanic has no clue what it is. Do you have any ideas? Or can you forward this to someone who would know. I am sure that this same thing has happened to other VW owners. Thanks for your help. |
