Volks,

I posed this question to the list in a reply to another members query but I think it got lost in the static.

I'm going to clean all of my ground connections in the engine this weekend and would like to insure good conductability from this point on. I have used Ox-Ban on aluminum electrical residential service wire to prevent oxidation and insure long-term conduction.

Why can't this product be used on the connections on a Vanagon? If you cleaned the surfaces first, apply Ox-Ban, and wipe off the remainder so you don't attract road grime wouldn't this be a good option?
