I am looking for feedback on how this unit has served over time. any problems with it? Is an anxillary battery required or is the power draw low enough to use main battery without fear. Is there something else on the market that I should be aware of? any and all feed back is welcome. Thank you, Thank you, very much. David Johnson>>

David and all,

I handled a couple of group purchases of the Carver P4 in the past. I have since sold over 30 of these in the past 2 years and have had only good luck with the heaters. The price has gone up a bit since the original Propex heater group purchase. The P4 is a different unit that has been designed to meet tough European safety standards.

I am currently out of stock on the P4, and may not order more because of liability issues. I am waiting for clarification from my insurance company to make sure I am covered. I believe that the P4 is completely safe when installed correctly. However, with a poor installation, or improper use, there is a potential for problems.

I love my P4. It is quiet uses little power and propane.

If I order more I will give list member discounts as always.
