"...ramblings of Rush Limbaugh wannabe's..."? I see the non-vanagon content prohibition does not extent to trashing other members of the list. Four posts I placed here over three days. Three of these four in REPLY to three others who commented on my first post. Much like I am replying to yours now. In none of these three posts did I disparage anyone nor they me; yet now I am I publicly trashed with words like "crap", "drivel", and the like and now this from you. Do the rules say I cannot reply to this trashing? Can we not say that YOU are now continuing the detested thread? Or perhaps the rules do not apply to righteous pilers-on who so closely follow threads they then claim to have no interest in. But perhaps you now find the thread interesting having discovered a chance to get in a few personal insults. Did you insult me expecting no reply or did you purposely attempt to PROVOKE a reply so that you may pile-on the more? Well, here is your reply and your chance. Don't forget to include in your next post that the continuation of the thread is completely my fault. As far as Limbaugh is concerned I find him wrong as often as not. I rarely listen anymore, preferring instead to go directly to the source. Texts of actual legislation and transcripts of Congressional Committee discussions that are posted for all to see on Government Web Sites. If you do not consider government sources reliable then you are deeper into the conspiracy theory than I. Perhaps you would like to drop in to the EPA site and read about proposals to tax older vehicles that, having fewer pollution controls, pollute more than newer vehicles. No, I guess this would not be "Vanagon related" and we here would much prefer being notified of the tax only after it becomes law. There are others like this but hell, who cares? As regards the virus warnings several people have already been inadvertently infected by virus transferred from the list. I appreciate warnings and descriptions of new virus. Perhaps you would rather wait until a virus announced itself on your computer but I prefer some notification before this occurs. One would think that those who try to provide this warning are trying to do the list members a favor but you seem to view their attempts only as occasions for more complaints. Ok, Im through. You may now once again carry on the thread by complaining that I dared to respond to your personal insults the last time you carried on the thread. And a reminder; Dont forget to say that it is all my fault.

I love this mailing list and really don't get exited about the variety of posts here. I like the trip and project reports.... and even the festival alerts. However, I tend to side with Scott. I'm on here to get and share information about vanagon's.... not to get 20 e-mails about virus alerts or the ramblings of rush limbaugh wanabe's and their "govement" conspiracy theories.

Rage on brother Scott.
