THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION:  You MUST put a manual bleed valve on the end
of that tube.  Just for a start, nobody on earth will fill it for you if
you don't <g>.

When filling, the manual procedure is to hook up the propane hose, then
crack the bleed valve open a trifle.  Start filling, and when liquid issues
from the bleed valve, stop filling then close the bleed valve.
