One way to know for sure is to do an oil ananlysis at your oil changes. Even if you just put on a new filter and top it off you could send alittle oil off to the lab. it will tell you the condition of the oil, content of gas and water, how dirty it is, and well as what type of metals are in it that can help you figure out your engines condition. After a few tests @ $15 a pop you will now what you need for your van and driving habits.
