Perfect?  No... consistent, yes.  When a mfr does make mistakes, you
expect them to stand behind their products.  If you were in business,
your customers would and should expect items to perform as they should.
How is that unfair?

I won't comment whether or not the libel is justified but I will say
that in the last 3-4 weeks I've been asking folks about new engines.  I
remember before mine died there were consistent horrendous stories about
GEX products and support.  With the latest intense search for a decent
engine provider, this has resurfaced with a larger unsatisfied (to say
the least) base of folks with negative experiences.  Given that I have
asked everyone at van shows about replacement engines, asked many
installers, and asked here 3 years ago and again lately, and given that
without exception ALL of the stories (over 300 EASY) are frighteningly
similar, I'd say they have a serious problem.  I have no experience with
them.  When I look at the many I've talked to who have, I won't be
considering them for my new engine.  I've been saving for 2 years to get
my van back on the road and don't want or need it to go bad now.
