Take a look at a Scirocco or a Jetta TD (Some other VW's may have it as well). These two cars have the type of oil cooler I think you are talking about. Look where VW tapped into the coolant system, and the funky-curly hoses they did it with. Let the engineers at VW guide you.

Here's the skinny....I had AVP rebuild my 1.9 and do their conversion deal.....2.1 cam/pistons/cylinders/and heads. Thinking that the oil cooler would be a good thing to throw on, I also ordered that.......apparently it fits between the oil filter and the case (easy enough). However where would be the best place to tie into the original 1.9 cooling system to get coolant to the thing? and are there any known fittings that "tee" that I could splice into an existing line to feed and and a line to recover the coolant, and which lines would those be ??
