My Syncro has been doing the binding in tight turns for a while now and only getting worse so, I just pulled my drive shaft out of my 87 Syncro and the back part off the shaft came off first. I was able to roll my van by turning the shaft by hand. So does this mean the VC is toasted. Will it hurt anything else to drive without the drive shaft in??? Has it been established that driving without the shaft does/ does not do damage to the VC?? Yet another question. My clutch has been chattering, just a wee bit as i first begin to back up and out of my driveway first thing in the morning. (111,000 miles) How much longer do I have????

TIA.

ROB
