Subject: Issues converting vanagon 7 uinto a weekender..
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

I have almost all the pieces. Stove/refrigerator/sink cabinet, bed/wardrobe/backseat/water cabinet/overhead cabinet. Water jug, back screen, front window curtain, all hardware for other curtains. Swivel seat mounts. All I need I think is Propane tank, carpet, snaps for curtains and screen, panel for over the sink (the one with the light in it). So what is next? i have a good running 83 Vanagon 7 passenger in great shape.

On an extreme note, I have the popup top, I have the original 81 vanagon westfalia that it came on. Interior trashed, transmission shot. Motorneeding some work.

So what is next? Make a slick 83 A/C hardtop weekender? Find someone with

enough welding experience to cut the top off both buses and make a full blown 83 CampMobil? Any advice as to how to procede... rip out the interior of the 83, perhaps do some sound deadening, and then reinstall the westfalia camp stuff in it? Any ideas on how to get headliners (for the weekender) to fit?

Any and all advice appreciated.

tim
