HEy volks, okay, sort of excited here so bear with me. I just found an '87 westie for sale in a nearby lot. I currently have an '88 gl is good condition. this westie is in better condition that mine. No seem rust, 100,000 mi power windows/locks, 2.1L, automatic tranny, mag wheel (vw), no rust period. a few blemishes but nothing major at all by the looks of it. the interior, through peering at night with a flash light looks in better cond. than mine and I've replaced the capeting and all. I've pretty much been bitten by the bug and have really wanted a westie to replace my gl. The only thing about this one is the automatic tranny so far. I know about the head gasket prob with these wc, but is there anything else i should consider wiht an auto. Oh, by the way this one has a tag of 12 grand is this an average price, I know there is a place i can check the blue book value for an estimate but where? any help is a bonus thanks jon '88 gl hoping to add to the fam.
