I've put the R-12 version in 3 "problem" ACs.  Two of which are my '86 & '88
vanagons.  The Freon would leak out within a month on all 3.  So, far the
jury is still out on the vans as I've only had it in for 2 weeks.  But the
1st vehicle I put it in has been leak free since early spring.
