Yes there is. In southwest Wisconsin / northern Illinois there is a club
called the DBG ( Der Busbesitzer Gruppe) based out of the Milwaukee and
southwest Wis area. We have a web site and had a great campout last
weekend for Mofoco's bugfest. The campout was at a private farm with
about 45-50 busses showing up Saturday night. Give the web site a look:

Also, there is a Campout and show near Rockford Illinois sponsored by the
Stateline Volks Folks.
This year the Stateline VolksFolks are hosting the annual convention for
the Volkswagen Club of America. There will be a lot of people in town for
this
weekend.
