> MY WESTIE WATER FAUCET FLOWS COSTANTLY WHEN I HOOK A HOSE TO IT, IS THIS > THE WAY THEY ALL ARE OR IS MINE JUST OLD AND TIRED? > > TIA ROB WRIGHT > 82 WESTIE Old and tired. Replacements are available from the Bus Depot (www.busdepot.com), EuroAmerican (www.deltasix.com), and Go Westy (www.gowesty.com). I replaced mine with a new Shurflo faucet from West Marine, which I think is a much nicer faucet. Cheaper, too, but I had to make an adapter plate to fit it into the original hole in the countertop. Oh, and you probably know this already, but just in case: "off" for the Westy faucet is in the *middle* of the knob's travel. Turning it against the stop one way runs the pump; the other way turns on the water from the hose hookup. -Steven Sittser |
