Thanks to all who wrote answers to Fru Pedersen's overheating problem. My 87 Westy is still sick, we checked everything, re-bled the cooling system, replaced the thermostat again, retuned the engine, changed the CO mix etc., and still she heats up on an uphill climb. Well we have now discovered the problem. There is one spot in the middle of the radiator that is cold to the touch, so it's time to replace it. Have one on order and will hopefully be installing it next week so Fru Pedersen can get back on the road in time for another vacation trip and perhaps The Burning Man venture. Again thanks to all the suggestions and helpful hints, especially the one about some alien organism taking up residence in the radiator. It's actually living in the fridge.
