For the past two years I have been thinking about how to 'Gerry' rig a syncro diff lock activator for the one that the PO broke off the tranny. Only the activator is broken off, the pin into the tranny is OK. My thoughts are for something electrical rather than the crazy vacuum set up. Someone mentioned that maybe Power Door Lock activators (or Power Trunk Activators) might do the trick. Any thoughts on if there is enough UUMPH in a power door/trunk activator to push in the diff lock pin? Is there enough room down there to position a door/trunk activator? Thanks, Malcolm S |
