you know, that business of turning the front seats toward each other, and making a bed across the bottoms could also be used for an additional bunkbed: what if you made a contraption to also go across the 'shoulders' of the front seats (turned toward each other like that), and put the cot/bed/whatever on that?? the seats should support it, don't you think? i'm not sure how you'd fasten it to the seats, but that would give you a bunkbed sort of arrangement: small bunk below (on the seat cushions) and small bunk above (on the shoulders). and it shouldn't require any drilling into pillars or anything. yeah, i know what you're thinking. :) put it across the fold-down armrests. nah, i don't think they'd support it ...those things break if you look at them hard!! ;) unca joel |
