That was from me, too. The blowers fail relatively commonly. The cores less commonly, although if/when one does, it alone would cost you more than the $250. The $250 complete assembly is a one-time closeout I got, and I only have four of them. It is from a right hand drive vanagon, but appears to be identical to the ones we use here. (Worst case the plastic housing would have to be used from your old one; the guts would be the same either way.)
