Subject: I got a van, thanks for the help
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Dear all and especially those who answert all the questions about the diesel ones. Today I got a 1979 cuddely with a 2L engine. the second engine has 90,000 km on it. The lpo has always driven it by the rpm meter and I hope the engien is OK.

The exterior is good,- no rust in the expected places. May need a coat of paint one day.. at the moent it has very cute eyelashes and a smily face painted on the front!? The interior has a self build side cabinet with a cooker but no sick and fridge which I did not really want anyway.

The petrol indicator is playing up a bit. i.e going up and down if you have any suggestion for that let me know.

The last time I partly owned one of these was when I was three in 1975,so I will have to do some catching up.

The van is going for a service on monday, brakes, oil, timing. What else should I do immeadiately?

Thanks again,

Lukas
