Hey all, I hit a deer yesterday with my 82 diesel (84 gti engine), head-on, right into the lower grill. destroyed the grill, my driving lights, and a turn signal. the grill broke into many pieces, a couple of them went into the radiator. I can only see one hole, about 1/4" long, this was the only place coolant was escaping from.

I have a couple questions: has anyone had a repair performed on their vanagon radiator, if so, how did it turn out? If I am not able to repair it, does anyone have an inexpensive source for a replacement? The least expensive I have found so far was still over $300. Has anyone replaced their diesel radiator with one from a gas vanagon? I realize this would require some modification to the coolant pipes/hoses, is it otherwise do-able?

I am also in the market for a lower grill and passenger turn signal, anyone have these used or cheap?

thanks for the help, Don
