hi-

just completed a 750 mile trip in the '87 westy (to Winterhawk bluegrass fest - lots of buses - anyone on the list?). I let a friend drive some yesterday who was not familar with the car. Now it is hard to get into 1st and almost impossible to get into 4th. other gears work fine, but the shifter seems stiff, and the gears are in slightly different locations. any ideas what to look at first? this better just be linkage.....

thanks...
