Sounds like your fan series resistors are shot. They're up in the cabinetry in the rear (assuming you have the rear mounted AC) and are a bit of a bear to get to, particularly since you have to drop that heavy rear unit. If you don't want a big job before you leave, just run it on high (and make sure your contacts are all cleaned up so you don't burn something out)

You can see at least one of them in this picture right above the white plastic connectors. They kinda look like a large Tootsie Roll.

The dealer gets about $60 for these as I recall and I even have a part # scribbled down somewhere.

I ended up scrapping the whole AC idea thereafter, so I never ended up replacing them.
