Subject: Best Starter Battery?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Hello Volks!

With all the talk of Batteries on the list, thought I'd ask -- And assuming that money is no object (yeah, right, but let's dream for a minute), what is the best overall "Starter" battery? Could I use a sealed "deep cycle" battery as a regular "start" battery? I've got a regular Vanagon, not a Westy, so I only need one battery, but I live in the NYC metro area, where it's HOT and humid in the summer, freezing in the winter, and rains in the seasons between. I need something that's gonna give me plenty of power in any weather condition - while also allowing me reserve for when I need to run lights without the engine running.

Anybody care to recommend a brand/type?
