I don't know if this is very close to you, but try (941)923-1700 and ask
for Dan Butler.  He's a VW Tech Spec at a dealer down in Florida
(city?).  I spoke to him on the phone regarding a vanagon I was thinking
about buying, and he seems to know the vehicle well.
