>>Have to get a new set of tires - suggestions on type of tires?

If you can justify the price of the Michelins to yourself, go MXT, XCS (that's what sears told me) or the new Agilis (in 205/75/14).

I couldn't. I bought a set of load range D tires made by Cooper- Mastercraft Courser R/D in 195/14. They also have a load range C tire in 185/14.) See www.coopertires.com. (It seems to be down tonight or I'd give you the exact address.)

I was skeptical, as I've never purchased a tire other than Michelins and an occasional Firestone. However, I'm really happy with them FWIW. No road noise. Mud/snow tread and good in what little rain we've had so far. MARKED improvement in stability over the brand new passenger car tire that was on the vehicle. (I'm not the kind of guy who feels horsepower gains every time I add new spark plugs, synthetic oil, or that new super turbo air filter.)
