FWIW: I don't remember seeing any wires when I cut the front off of my 82 westie so I don't think there are any there. If you have power locks (on a 83.5? naw) there would be wires somewhere in that B pillar. -Otmar- 82/86 Stretch Vanagon Westfalia Syncro GTI.
