Subject:      D'oh!  Accelerator cable woes...

Today I'm driving along and by gas pedal falls to the floor!  The cable
snapped in the back where it connects to the throttle mechanism.  It was
totally frayed and the boot was intact.  I had to pull over and rig
something by cutting a chunk of guy wire from a newly planted sapling.
Sheesh!  Anyone had this problem yet?
