Hi all, I have 168k on my syncro and have had no problems. I had it stuck last winter in a road ditch without the diff lock on. Both front and rear tires on the left side spun . Easily pulled itself out after removed an ice chunk. I have not tried the "pull the van with the front wheels" test. Maybe chicken!! I've never had the VC or front diff out, or moved. I have had the driveshaft removed at the tranny to remove the tranny twice. Kerry '86 syncro 168K kstanley@cas.org -----Original Message----- From: Alan J. Are there a lot of you out there at 100,000 to 200,000 who are Syncro'ing around carefree? I am looking to purchase a Syncro as I write this. Head snip |
