well I made it to route 81 and pulling on the exit ramp, the passenger side wheel started to thump, when I hit the brakes it stopped, took my foot off the brake pedal thump , louder this time. Pull over for a look see, my top brake caliper bolt is gone, bottom loose and about to go. Hmmmm... this sux. Tightened the lower one up and came back home, dealerships all closed. Where am I going to find this bolt?? If anyone heading to the gathering this weekend has a parts bus and can yank one of the girling caliper bolts for me and bring it up I would be most grateful !!!! I am going back on the road tonite, slowly and checking periodically by headlamp for any loosening of that bottom bolt. Thankful it's only a 2 hour drive. Thanx for listening, guess I'll call the dealer on Monday. later mike 87 westy The Bus Depot wrote: > We're staying at the nearby WT Campground (not as loud/crazy as the private > one sanctioned by the venue, but allows alcohol unlike the state one).
