It's so good to see gerry back again. Thanks to the folks who kept it going. Thanks to the new stewards. Your time is much appreciated. I'd like to think I handled the absence like a person with not to hard of an addiction. I tell you tho the info you get here is nowhere else to be found and I am very much appreciative. Now my problem. The milage counter on my Carat keeps slipping out of place. I first noticed it when I looked down at the speedometer and saw it was out of place and not operating. So I took it apart and put the shaft end [opposite the turning cog ] back in its hole. Then I realized there was nothing to hold it there and it dosn't look like ther is a groove for a circlip to go on. I put it back together and sure enough it fell out again. Ive tried to think of alternative methods to fix it but it has to be able to turn so I seem very limited. Any ideas. Thanks Merv 90 Carat
