I called the forest service and got some info on the DUSY ERSHIM OHV road in the john muir wilderness south of yosemite. It turns out the raod is 30 miles + long, passes by numerous beautiful natural lakes at high elevation with 9-12,000 ft. peaks around. The ranger rated the road as extremely rough, said it is advised to travel in pairs, said some people take welding equipment along and said it usually takes 3 days to do the 30+ miles. Her Derek, i think you might like this road!

i'll take a look at it. steve
