For info on noise abatement/insulation see www.bulley-hewlett.com/VWindex, still with no banner ads, and no links to pornography, despite numerous requests.

Dear List,

What's best for cleaning the headliner?

Also, what's the best floor insulation? I have permanently removed the middle seat since my family has scattered and have just been putting a piece of carpet remnant on that nice big space, replacing every couple of years as it gets dirty; but it has occurred to me that if I took out the rails that the seat slides onto I could fit under the carpet either more of the insulating stuff that VW used originally (if I could find) or something else equally effective at blocking road noise. I'd also use some on the engine hatch.

TIA,
