Dear List,

Not too long ago (a couple of years) I spent untolled dollars to have the front heater switch and blower replaced in my 83.5 Vanagon. Today the switch started acting squirrely again. Turn it "on," nothing. Turn off the engine at a gas station. Turn it "on" again, it blasts into action. Well,

it starts blowing feebly with a loot of noise. Am I in for another multi-hundred dollar breakdown of the dash again to get a new blower in, is just the switch, a loose wire somewhere (it is devoutly to be wished), or

what?

TIA,

Woody
