It is not the oldest, as Westfalia has a 1950 model in their small
museum. According to them the production models atarted in 1951 and the
camping equipment was called a "Camping Box", as all the pieces would
fit into a box. Good for storage in the garage when using the van as a
Transporter, I guess. They also say that the equipment could be set up
in the home (for those unexpected guests). The one in the museum is
Balck/Yellow, which Westfalia says was a special paint job for the
camper.
   Might not be the oldest, but I wouldn't mind having it!
