I think I'll have to weigh in on this one...

I've been on the list since late 1994, and the list used to have the
default reply set to go to the list. It suited me just fine.

When we moved off the lenti.umn.edu server, the default was changed to
go the the poster, unless you hit "reply to all" in your mail package.
That suits me just fine as well.

So I really don't care. But Gerry has been up for all of 24 hours, and I
don't have the slightest idea how to run it yet. Thank God it just ran
when I plugged it in. Sure, I know NT well (MCSE, CNE, MCT, blah, blah),
but I have no experience with ListServ.

The short story is that I have a bunch of manual "nomail" and
"unsubscribe" things to do for people that were unable to do themselves
while Gerry was down. I'll stick with trying to get those done this
weekend. I got to spend me some quality time with the Listserv manual
this weekend!

How about we revisit this issue in a few weeks after I know what the
*&$%@# I'm doing? :)
