Howdy Volks!

Gerry is up and running in his new home.

When I opened the box Gerry was shipped in, there was a large packet of info that chronicled much the effort that has gone into keeping the Vanagon list up and running for the past 2 years. Much work!

I think we all owe David Marshall, Ron Lussier and Chris Smith a huge "Thank You" for their efforts in keeping this list alive.

Gerry *was* running a little ragged the first time I booted him up, so I shut him down and upped the RAM to 128 Megs from 64 Megs. I had promised this RAM to Ron something like a year ago, but never got around to actually mailing it. Gerry likes RAM. He is much happier now. Maybe this can increase the intervals between needed reboots!

Take care, TomC tcarrington@relitech.com http://volksweb.relitech.com 85 Crew Cab Vanagon 82 Westy diesel=>gas conversion 65 Notchback
